Northeast Kansas Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force

The Northeast Kansas Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force (NEKMJTF) is organized to consolidate and expand the resources of participating agencies for the purpose of reducing the use, sale and manufacture of illegal drugs in the region. The Task Force is established to provide coordinated joint investigations of controlled substance violations, gang activity and other felony-level criminal activity associated with the use and trafficking of illegal drugs. The mission of the Task Force is to provide a comprehensive and multi-jurisdictional effort to reduce the level of drug trafficking and the availability of illegal drugs in the region. The Task Force currently conducts criminal investigations within the jurisdictions of Johnson County, Miami County, and Franklin County.
